I saw an ad on Craigslist for "Vintage Treailer Campeers.
There were two of them, both beat up old campers, but hey, they were in our price range and we didn't know any better.
One of the two looked like it was worth a shot, so I sent an email asking questions about it. The email I received in response included the following picture:
Now, keep in mind that the trailer I had been asking about was the blue & beige one. The one behind it was not being advertised for sale. So I emailed again, asking, "Is the little green trailer for sale?
A few days later, we were taking the back roads home on 35 year old tires with no running lights.
We were thrilled to have found our trailer! We took photos documenting every element of it. We started cleaning the dirt and junk out of it, taking measurements and making plans for how we would fix it up.
Little did we know that another trailer would soon be joining the family.
